(Senior) Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Position Description
As a Business Development Manager, you are part of Cinemo’s Business Development and Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of both Software development and Consumer Electronics hardware manufacturing industries, perfect communication skills, a solution-oriented, hands-on approach, and the commercial mindset to discover and evolve new business opportunities.
 
Customers in your responsibility are consumer electronics device manufacturers, content management software vendors, and retail/enterprise businesses owning or operating large fleets of playback devices (such as screens or speakers).
In this role, you will:
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research through open sources, industry analytical reports, and marketing agencies to identify and classify the prospects
  • B2B-lead Generation: Conduct lead development best practices with email, calls, networking, and through social touches such as trade shows and exhibitions
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and grow relationships with both Hardware and Software customers to achieve long-term business perspective by partnering with key stakeholders identifying their pain points and understanding their needs and requirements
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical, marketing, and product development departments, to understand Cinemo solutions and articulate them to your customers and potential leads
  • Contract Management: Participate in the review, draft, and negotiation of the contracts from the business perspective to ensure that Cinemo's business interests are covered
 
What you will need to succeed:
  • Experience in a highly competitive, technology-driven industry sector (e.g. Software, Consumer Electronics, IoT)
  • Several years of experience in Business Development or B2B Sales, with a proven history of negotiating and closing Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients
  • Familiarity with software products, services, and technologies
  • Understanding hardware manufacturing partners' business processes would be an advantage
  • Ability to understand client needs, tune the pitch if necessary, and present tailored solutions to win the customer
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
