(Senior) IT Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps) (f/m/d)

Position Description

We're currently in search of an adept infrastructure developer with coding proficiency and a solid grasp of modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in both software and hardware technologies, particularly within Linux operating environments, and proficiency in scripting or compiled languages. Additionally, familiarity with containerization principles and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies is essential. As a valued member of our IT DevOps team, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our evolving infrastructure and service portfolio from day one.

In this role, you will:

Expand infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes (K8s) and container-based deployment strategies.
Engineer infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, crafting scripts and workflows.
Facilitate rapid and transparent Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) for our development teams.
Provide guidance and assistance to development teams, optimizing existing pipelines and deployments for maximum efficiency.
Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for critical components.
Oversee and maintain existing pipelines and associated internal services.

What you will need to succeed:

5 years’ experience in IT
Significant experience with containerization practices (Docker) and running services in Kubernetes-based environments
Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tooling
Excellent know how in the field of the most common Linux distributions as well as technologies
Development skills (Python, Golang, C/C++, Java or similar)
Experience with at least one configuration management tool (Salt, Ansible, Puppet or similar)
