(Principal) Product Architect SaaS/IoT (f/m/d)

Position Description

We are currently seeking an experienced (Principal) Product Architect SaaS/IoT to lead the design and evolution of our cloud-based combined software-as-a-service (SaaS) and IoT offerings. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the architecture of our products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences. Responsibilities

Spearhead the architectural design and development of our SaaS/IoT products and lead our group of Software Architects professionally
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
Improve collaboration of the different functions such as development, quality assurance, devops and software security and foster transparency in our product area.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies to optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of our offerings
Define and enforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability in SaaS product development together with our Engineering Management team
Mentor and guide development teams, emphasizing best practices in Golang, JavaScript, React, GRPC, and IoT based communication protocols within the SaaS context
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance our product architecture

Experience & Skills

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a SaaS Product Architect with a focus on technologies like Golang, JavaScript, React, GRPC and IoT based communication protocols
Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud
In-depth knowledge of SaaS product architectures, microservices, microfrontends and containerization
Familiarity with IoT frameworks and protocols, e.g. MQTT, is a plus
Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS/IoT solutions
Excellent English communication and leadership skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous
